We have long ignored this great plague in our society. Our eyes have remained blind to this festering sore on all of humanity. Old people, for centuries we have spoken of venerable old age, but what is it about the elderly that is so deserving of our veneration? They endanger our lives on this nations roads, either cautiously easing down the interstate or tearing through a school zone or forgetting where they are at the most inopportune moments. Supposedly unable to work for a living, just because they dont have full use of their bodies or minds, they demand the tax dollars of us hard-working Americans. Not even television is safe from their power, stations such as The Home Shopping Network and the Food Channel have appeared between those people actually watch, and serve to eliminate precious channel surfing seconds. It is for these reasons that we must move to the Alaskan Wilderness and establish our new civilization. In the year 2001 when we first found Oak City, the average age will be 19, and it will remain there for several months to come. So my friends, it is only through forming this new youthful society and avoiding forever the countless dangers of geezers, that you may escape the fiery pits of hell. Thank you.
